My neighbors insurance co paid for him to get a spa after his knee surgery. His injuy was work related though, so Im guessing through some kind of workers comp.

You need to ask them directly, but my guess is probably not.

you can have medical insurance pay, but it’s very difficult, and you really do need a valid reason, and a kick a*s doctor who knows how to go around the system

Possibly if you have a bad enough injury and you need it. I guess it could be possible.

  7. zippythejessi says:

99.99% chance of NO. Not unless it can be proven beyond a doubt to be medically necessary.

    hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

My uncle had a chiropractor prescribe him to get a jacuzzi style indoor bathtub, and the insurance company did pay for a portion of it, but not the entire amount. You would have to have a doctor recommend it, then figure out what type they allow and what percent they will pay. You also need to find out if an outdoor hot tub qualifies in the same category as the indoor style.
