Who does the Alpo company think they’re fooling?

I got this from one of my mailing lists this morning:

http://www.quickgetthatdogsomealpo.com/?story_id=video

I don't claim to understand why people take their dogs to "Dog Spas" or pay 0 for Canine Massage, but honestly, what the hell is up with this commercial? As if food comprised of animal meal and roadkill parts will put "hair on a chihuahua!"

Do you think this marketing ploy will work? Discuss!

It’s certainly not just Alpo that sells crap. The majority of dog food is crap. The bottom line is that some people just aren’t educated on pet food and some really don’t care what their pet eats because it’s, "just a dog".

Kudos to people that take good care of their pets, make them a part of their family and want to provide them a good life…whether that means a bath at home or a $400 massage..I don’t care either way.
