what poses/pictures do you wish you would have had/or are having your photographer take?

i don't want to miss any shots, i don't want to be like oh man why didn't i think of that when it's over, we are having a destination wedding, but one of our friends is a photography major so she is taking pictures for us for free,

so i started a list, do you have any other suggestions? thank you

My List
1-getting my hair & make-up done
2-dress shopping
3-getting my nails done
4-accessory shopping
5-spa day
6-getting dressed

thank you
spa day and nails is more of me in front of the business for scrapbooking purposes, not her taking pic of me getting a massage, etc

Personally I would not have wanted or needed any of the ones you have listed but what I do regret and have noticed about other friends wedding albums is not enough pictures of the reception. There are close up pictures of bride and groom, cake cutting, entrance etc but not enough of pictures from afar of people eating, dancing etc. I wish I had more of those large shots of the event.

    accessory shopping?? spa day??
our flower is the daisy… so i am posing in a country setting at an old manual water pump with an aluminum bucket under it ( pump doesn’t work, so i will fill the bucket with water from the house ) and i am going to pose for a "he loves me, loves me not" photo as i pull the pedals and toss them in the bucket… i also have an upstairs window in the hall facing the front of the house (where our guests will be seated) and I am posing for a silhouette picture of me looking down as the guests are arriving… other than that… just the formal pictures plus the ones you mentioned minus the spa and accessory shopping…

i agree with all the shopping and spa stuff.
also get some of the groom doing stuff like that.

i also like the idea of a blooper book. so get alot goofy, silly moments, like trying to pee in a huge poofy dress. my cousin has a picture like that and it is sooo funny. she has like 4 people helping her.

  5. ♥Love waits 4-2 hearts w/1 beat♥ says:

well i have a bunch to add to your list
1-the veil over both bride and groom as they kiss
2-hubby & dad looking at his dads watch.
3-My parents have one of Dad with one leg out a window and His best man holding his arm to keep him from escaping
4-i have a pictures of me and all my bridesmaids hitchhiking on the side of a dirt road as if the limo had broken down
5-my then 1yr old son is peeking out from under my skirt and then i have 1 of my puppy growling at my veil hanging on the mirror
6-if it’s an outdoor wedding..find some big trees and play peek a boo with the camera everyone from behind different trees..then maybe one of the bride and groom being caught kissing behind one of the trees.
7-One is right outside the church doors. The Groom looks like he trying to get away and his groomsmen are holding him by his coat.
8-The groom wrote on the bottom of his shoes "Help Me" so when he knelt to pray the bottom of his shoes were seen by the guests.

just take some relaxing funny pictures to don’t be all serious

  6. Bride 2 Be 4/30/10 says:

1 and #6 on your list are okay, but getting pictures of you having your nails done? Seriously? That’s a bit over the top. I couldn’t imagine having a photographer tagging along for something like that (I know she’s your friend, but it’s still weird). I understand it’s a day all about you, but that’s a bit much. Also, don’t have pictures of a spa day…that’s your time to relax!
