What is wrong with the skin on my back?

After hanging out in the community pool and spa today, my wife noticed that a section on my back with enlarged puffy pores. The section is about 6 inches wide. Only the pores in this section are enlarged and puffy. The jet from the spa was hitting me on this exact spot on my back. I've been in the spa before and have not had this problem. I also had unusual chest pains while I was in the pool (not sure if this is related). My only thoughts are that maybe it was from a bug bite, the jet from the spa or some kind of allergic reaction. Whatever it is, the pores are very disgusting looking and my wife doesn't even want to touch them. Thanks for any help.

    Well I don’t know what to tell you as I am no Dr. I do know that I would get it looked at by a Dr. It could be serious. Allergies are usually itchy. They are either dry and scaly (Exzema). And that is usually from an external cause like something you ate or drank.

    My mother had a problem with what the doctors called contact dermatitis. It was itchy and oozy. It started out more like a blistery rash that itched. It is best to keep it dry and not itch it. If you can’t keep it dry till it heels and you can’t keep from itching it go to a doctor as it will get infected over time.

    If you were in the spa most of the time I would say an insect bite wouldn’t be too likely.
