What is the key to time management?

For those of you who are able to handle school with 5 extra curiculars or work with children, and still have a bit of time to spare to have a social life or go to the spa, please let me in on your secret...or at least a part of it.

I am not dying with an overload, I just want to be able to know how to handle time so that I could handle a lot of extra curiculars AND have a social life at the same time (if i ever wanted to)

Easy, you don’t sleep, live on Red Bulls, and eventually become a zombie. :-)

But really… It’s difficult but you just push through a day at a time and keep some kind of motivation to keep you going (a vacation for instance). It really helps if you’re involved in activities that you love. If you are, then the time you spend involved in those activities keeps you going too.

It’s all in ambition and downtime.
If you are enjoying what you do, and still working hard on the things you don’t enjoy it makes it seem a little easier.

Speaking as a person who attends full time classes, has 2 "extra" curricular, work, and a pretty decent social life, its not always as easy as it looks. There have been many times when a weekend show has been "in the way" of social gatherings with friends, and you find people who will automatically assume you have no time or interest in a particular thing.

Everything will seem more hectic when you worry about doing it, or think about what you have to do too much.
My secret, is to just go. Instead of worrying about that project your going to start on soon, if it crosses your mind, jump on it. You won’t waste time with worry if your already in the middle of it.
