Depends on how much you want to spend. Encore has the hot club right now. Planet Hollywood is cool, and the Hard Rock always has stuff going on.

OOOO Go to the Stratusphere. Its very entertaining. It’s a five star hotel with an amusement park on the roof. They amusement park has amazing rides that go into the Stratusphere literally. They go off the building and spin and you can see the ground underneath. Other then that it has pools and anything else other 5* hotels have. You will love it.

I am 30, leaving for Vegas tomorrow, staying at the Pallazzo (part of the Venetian). We stayed there before and loved it. MGM, Luxor, and New York New York are also fun for the 20′s crowd and they are all very close to each other too. I would stear clear of downtown; a little dingy and full of old people…you should check it out at night though, just to see Freemont street, then head back to the strip.

Best website ever: Cheapovegas.com (very helpful)

Husband and I (at the time just dating) stayed at New York-New York two years ago – at the time we were 29 and 26. Right across the street was MGM Grand and the monorail.

Caesar’s Palace has a mall and it’s not that far down the strip to get to from NY-NY.

    Caesars Palace.

Huge pool area and QUA spa.

Also very central for shows all around.

Most of the hotels that you are looking for that have a good size pool an spa are on the strip. Those can be expensive, and will have gambling in them, but you don’t have to go to the casino. Your best option is to shop around ,and find what you want for the price you want.

    the palazzo and caesers palace

Probably any of the big ones. I have only ever stayed at the Venetian. It’s not cheap, but it is beautiful and it’s huge. The casino is a relatively small part.

They all have casinos, but I was amazed at how much there is to do that doesn’t involve gambling.

All the hotels all also have shows, usually more than one, and you can go to any hotel for their shows.

We did a haunted Vegas ghost tour that was really a lot of fun. Also went to Red Rock Canyon outside of Vegas in a Hummer tour, and the driver knew a lot about the geology and history of the area, which I appreciated.

It’s also just fun to walk the strip at night and look at all the hotels and fountains and everything.

Mandalay Bay and MGM have the best pools IMO (lazy rivers). These hotels also often have great promo offers available. Check http://www.vegas-hotels-online.com if you want to find out more about their specials.

Entertainment is various features would be Venetian and very close to other casinos with the same

I found Venetian and Pallazzo to have an older crowd. Stratosphere is too far from everything else.

I’d go with Mandalay or MGM Grand.

Since you specified pool, I think you want to go to Mandalay Bay which has hands down the nicest pool. It’s got pretty spectacular choice of entertainment between "The Lion King" and "House of Blues", and a pretty good museum called "Shark Reef".

The Luxor is connected via a walkway or a free tram. The show there is Chris Angel’s "Believe". It’s also a short walk to NY, NY where they have a terrific roller coaster.

It’s about 2 miles from there to Dancing fountains at Bellagio or the highest end shopping at Ceasars or Venetian. Buy a 24 hour pas on the Deuce double decker bus and ride north on the strip. You can go the other way on the Deuce to get to the newest outdoor shopping mall known as "Town Square". It’s a nice place to grab a bit to eat or catch a movie.

Bellagio and Town square are about 1.5 miles in opposite directions. You can take the Deuce bus or walk. The walk north to Bellagio is a little easier since you can take the free tram from Mandalay Bay up to the Excaliber saving you 0.52 miles of walking.

They are supposed to have a second free tram built that will pass through the new "City Center" when it opens (supposedly) before New Years Eve. That will make it even easier to get from Mandalay Bay to Bellagio

The entire 6 casino run between Las Vegas Blvd and Interstate 15: Mandalay Bay – Luxor -Excaliber- NY/NY-City Center & Bellagio is owned by one corporation (MGM Mirage). They also own the MGM Grand across the street, The Mirage hotel north of Ceasars, and the old Circus Circus hotel a few miles north.

Mandalay Bay has a great pool, I like the pool area at Caesars as well. Any good resort that is on the strip located near the events you plan on attending is just fine. You don’t need to exclude a casino… just because you won’t be using it.

Here’s a tip: Use Google Earth to map out how far it is from place to place. Then hit youtube and search for videos of the shows you want to see and the hotels you want to visit. That should give you a good overview.
