The Discovery Suites or the new Pan Pacific might be good options. It also depends on where in Manila..

Wat are the Best Hotels in Manila to hold any group party?
I and some of my friends are planning to hold a small get together party. But we want it in a hotel with swimming pool and spa amenities. We are planning to spend one whole day or night in that hotel where we could use the pool and have some massage service or sauna maybe. We are looking for hotels that can accommodate our small group – maybe 5-8 people. Our budget is not so posh. Less than 5k is really good. Any hotel that you know of? A good hotel…excellent customer service….? Thanks!

Should children under a certain age not be allowed in public spas?
I paid good money to spend 2 hours in a public spa house. I was amazed to see a woman come in with 2 small children under age 5.Not only did they squeal and splash around (it is meant to be a relaxation spa, not a swimming pool) but I wondered if it was hygienic, that they may have been weeing and pooing in the spa. Feedback from mothers and non mothers please!

I wouldn’t really know about famous alcoholic drinks, but I do know that our very own San Miguel beer is known world wide and considered one of the best beers. For nightlife, places to go to are Makati (Greenbelt area, Rockwell, The Fort), Libis and Tomas Morato.

The first answerer was right regarding beaches, the more famous ones can be found outside of Manila. The nearest one would be Puerto Galera which is near Batangas. Then there’s Boracay, the beaches at Palawan where great scuba diving and whale watching can be done, Camiguin also has great beaches. There’s Aman Pulo, Dakak among others.

Private swimming pools are plenty outside of Manila as well, in nearby Laguna. These pools also tend to be hot spring fed so the waters are warm and good for relaxing. If you have relatives in the Philippines, just ask them where they usually go for a summer outing to the pool and they’ll be sure to take you to a good one. Aside from Laguna, Bulacan also has some resorts and private pools to offer.

There are just too many places to mention here, so maybe you can check out this website for more info and to get more ideas for your trip – http://www.wowphilippines.com.ph/.

From a non-mother: I would have complained….really complained!! And, my guess is that there are rules, had you asked. Or better than asking, demanding to see a manager often solves these problems about these parents who think their children are so special that we should all enjoy their very presence, no matter how disruptive they may be.

Does anybody know of any holiday parks similar to center parcs but not so expensive?
Looking for somewhere that does sports activities and spa/swimming pool facilities, mainly for adults and anywhere in UK. I’ve already looked at butlin, pontins, etc.
