Just installed the spa for a friend. It was given to her by her father and he said that the only problem it had is it wouldn't heat properly.

After wiring it up I found this to be correct. It warms up to about 80 degrees and then shuts off like it's done heating.

I'm thinking either the control panel on top or the water temp sensor is out of whack. It just doesn't know it isn't hot yet.

I already resistance checked the heating element - it's fine. But the temp control and everything else is all solid state.

I hate to just start replacing parts.
