Spa Ph and Alk changes after addition of Sani Spa?

I FINALLY got our new spa's PH and ALK within the normal range and then I added the sani spa and it seemed to mess it all up again! Is this just because of the sani spa chemicals? Thanks in advance!

yes you have changed the ph with the adding of anything, so back to sq. one and use the color gage to set it again.

Next time your out of chemicals change over to Bromine. you can buy it in most lowe's in the nursery area for out side fountains. Using Bromine, you will not fade clothes and you will be safe with out soaking in bleach, i.e. clorox is the same thing your using now.

Bromine is a balancing act, but of time and not two different chemical's.

You buy a blue and white little dispenser that floats in the hot tub. it takes in water and melts the bromine into the water. If you feel the tub get slick, you need to open up the little holes in it more. If you smell to much of the chemical and it is dry feeling on the bottom of the tub, you have just a little to much, so cut back a little.

It will save on the life of the plumbing and the equipment in the pumping system and the heaters.

The brand I use is called Brominato Tablets. It is made for spas and hot tubs. it is a Spa Kem product.
