Sex in the water/STD’s?

Is it true that you can't get pregnant or get any STD's if you have sex in the water, or spa?

My friend and I were debating over it. He said because of the chlorine and other chemicals, it's not possible. (Typical guy thing, right?) I said he was full of crap, and it too make sure, i would like to ask the public.

So can you not?

If you have sex in the water, your bodies are still in contact so yes you can get pregnant or get an STD.

BUT if someone ELSE ejaculated into the water and you jumped in it’s highly unlikely you will become pregnant. Know why the balls are on the outside of a man? Because the body is too hot for sperm to live. Sperm needs a certain temperature and the swimming pool or Jacuzzi don’t do it. Also the chemicals in the swimming pool do kill them. STDs on the other hand is a different story, I don’t think the chlorine kills them.

Besides, unless you prepare for it correctly (which many people don’t) water sex is hazardous. Your shoving so many things in your vagina just because your in the water that other people have been in, and different microbes and chlorine that should not be in your vagina will get in your vagina and in the least you will probably end up with a yeast infection or UTI.

You are correct. Your friend is full of crap (and if he’s been having unprotected sex in chlorinated water, he’s probably full of STD’s too!)

    :-)

Seriously, during sex, the chemicals in pool water DO NOT kill sperm or STD’s!

  4. Chanel says:

It’s a YES to both of your questions.

Yes you can get pregnant having sex in water AND…
Yes you can get STD’s too.

Sex is sex, no matter where, when, how, or who you do it with.

All the best and stay safe!!

that’s bullshit. yes you can get pregnant and std’s in water.

however girls should have sex in water ever, it can cause them to go sterile

  6. fullmetaljacktt says:

You can get pregnant and/or contract a std. You can not get stds from sharing a hot tub or pool with someone. That is a myth.

    He IS full of sh*t.

    LOL

Sex is sex…sperm is sperm and once it penetrates the egg — a female is preggers.

Anyway, water doesn’t just go up inside of the vagina and somehow washing everything away. If it were THAT easy they wound’t have had to create ‘The Pill’.
Actually even if the vagina did take on water like that, the water would probably only push the sperm deeper into the canals of her uterus actually facilitating conception.

Anyway sperm is PROPELLED into the vagina through contractions and those little f*ckers are already swimming by the time they pop out the penis.

Also, there is sperm in pre-seminal fluid as well. So if he’s talking about ‘pulling out’ in the water…well — she can still get pregnent.
    There is a chance.

Viruses can’t survive outside the body for extended periods of time but sex is a ‘skin-to-skin’ contact type of activity — WITH bodily fluids.
One part typically goes inside the other.
