  1. Pokemoron says:

    A few suggestions.

Salamence – I’d do Stone edge over Dragon claw to improve coverage. After a few Dragon Dances, Salamence could easily sweep through 2-3 of your opponet’s team. Make sure there arent any Steel types laying around though.

    Magnezone –

HP Ice would mimic Bolt Beam, providing awesome coverage for your pokemon, as well as destorying dragon pokemon that get in your way. HP grass is only good against Rock/Ground/water types that resist Ice/Lightning (which is only swampert + quagsire, mind you)

I see the standard MixApe/Choice Ape plowing through alot of your pokemon, and no effective counter to him in your team. Maybe stick a Choice scarf onto Gengar so you can outspeed him, then put him to sleep so you and your team can recover. Your team has good type coverage, but the lack of any move to counter Fighting types like No guard Machamp + MixApe + Swords Dance Lucario / MixCario is very dangerous. So yes, I think you should exchange Blissey for a Cresselia. Here’s a set that I’m using in my team, who’s defensive capabilities I could no longer do without.

    Cressila @ Leftovers
    Bold
    252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA

    ~Reflect
    ~Moonlight
    ~Ice beam
    ~Psychic

Reflect helps ALOT trust me. I’ve been saved by this screen so many times, it’s not even funny. Moonlight is great unless you find yourself against a sandstorm team, which brings recovery to a lousy 25%. If you find yourself plagued by the Tyranitar curse, trade in moonlight for Rest. You could do charge beam over psychic if you want that extra Sp.Attack boost, but since this Cresselia is mainly for support, it’s better you keep Ice beam.

Or you can try this set, something I found on Smogon.

    Calm Mind Cressila @ Leftovers
    Timid
    96 HP / 252 SpA / 160 Spe

    ~Calm mind
    ~Psychic
    ~Moonlight
    ~HP fighting

Build up Cresselia’s potential with Calm minds, recover damage with Moonlight, then Calm mind again. HP fighting would kill of Tyranitar / Weavile that think they can switch into a support Cresselia.

I really have to stop writing in a wall of text. Anyways, this team is very balanced. The 2nd Cresselia set is a bit more offensive though. Try it out a few times and see if it works for you. If not, refer back to http://www.smogon.com and search up some really cool sets for your favorite pokemon
