When I do the self test on my pool water, the ph level is crucialy low but my chlorine is very high. I have added soda ash a few times this week and still my ph level does not budge, and my chlorine level stays high. The water is clear as anything and there is no algae build up anywhere. There is a slippery feel to the water, i know that sounds silly.The water burns the eyes and has a chemically tast to it as well. I don't know what to do anymore. I am taking a sample of it to a local pool/spa place to get tested. But if anyone has any sugesstions or has had the same problem before I would appreciate any suggestions on what to do? Thank you.
