My jacuzzi has never really worked the gravity and weight of the water in the tub?

causes the water to empty out because the heater and filter system is at a lower elevation then the actually spa. Does anyone know how i can fix this. I've already tried to build a system of pipes to raise the water up, but it really doesn't work..Any idea's?...thanks

If the water is emptying out, you have a leak! A spa is a sealed loop, and most pumps have more than enough power to raise the water a few feet back to the jets. Just like a swimming pool can have the pump and filter many feet away from the returns, so too can a spa. The "water weight" does not bother a pool, or a spa, it is designed to hold the water. Once the tub is full, then so too must the pipes and pump. If the water level goes down, it is leaking somewhere. Fill it, keep it turned off and look underneath for a leak. Maybe the fiberglass is cracked? maybe a fitting is loose, but there must be a leak. Gravity and water weight have nothing to do with causing the water to drain out. That is what spas are designed to do, IE) hold up the weight of the water, and the spa users.

The only thing that having the pump a few feet away from the jets can do is cause a slightly weaker return force on the jets. but the water level should not go down.

Build a platform for the filter and pump to set them higher.
