makeup/hair styles for 12 year olds?

Anyways for the Spa/Salon part of the party I was wodering what styles would be good for 12 year olds as in hairstyles.

And I know the makeup should be light and somewhat natural but some pictures would be great.

So link to some pictures is what I am looking for please.

Also who do they look up to at this age? Hannah Montantana? I was just wondering because I could look for pictures of these idols and see how their makeup/hair is done.

    Girls at that age, love glitter, and rihnestones, and boas, and really crazy hairstyles, and yeah hannah montanna is def a icon for little girls right now.
    try looking up libby lu, its a place were they give little girls a makeover, and they hit that age and interests just right.

    since its just a birthday party, the makeup can be heavy.. im not saying like eyeliner but loaddsss of sparkles. Just glitter everything! Lip glosses, sparkly eyeshadow is enough.

    for hair, i would do everyone wacky and wild…

    some girls at 12 do wear makeup so instead of doing what people arent comfortable with you can just GLAMORIZE everyone

    eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara, loose curls or flat ironed hair, lip gloss
    it really depends on waht your bf’s neice is into
    if she likes disney chanel then probably Hannah Montana and High School Musical but if she skate boards or something then you could get her a poster of ryan shekler and Avril Levign ( i heart her she is my idol)

    I would watch out how much makeup you put on a 12 year old, even for fun. I would say no eyeliner, but maybe eyeshadow and fun lip gloss. You might want to bring a curling iron and straightener and do hair.

    You can get some really cheap makeup and nail polish at Walgreen’s or someplace like that, they might like to have bright orange toenails or something. Nail polish would be a good parting favor too.

    I suggest you put a white sheet up (you can nail it and fill in the small holes later, or use tape) and use that for a photo shoot-style way of taking pictures.

    My sister is 10 and she LOVES Hannah Montana ha ha, so it would be fun for the girls to sing along I bet if you brought the CD and put that on in the backround.

    I think the old fashioned Lip Smacker will help any 12 year old with taking steps to the cosmetics world. If she’s careful with it, there’s a makeup company called Bonnebelle. The people here are right, though. Get her the basics like eyeshadow, a little blush, and lip gloss. The makeup styles can be earthy with natural colors and pastel colors in a girly fashion. Remember, LOW MAINTAINANCE!
