Hi, I overused the proactiv refining mask, and feel that it was too strong for my skin and did some serious damage. When I exit the shower my skin appears red and a rash is visible in the areas where I applied the proactiv refining mask. I have two questions)

1) has this happened to anyone before???

AND

2) If i were go to a spa/skin care center, would a "chemical peel" help my skin by killing the old dead and burnt skin and making way for new skin to grow????
