Ice bath in a non heated hot tub?

Is it possible to make an ice bath in a hot tub? (not while the heater is on of course...) Me and my friends want to get in together because we did that during track season. How would I be able to create it?? Would we be better off just getting a cheap inflatable pool?
where would i buy a really cheap inflatable pool?

Well, if the heater is off, just throw a ton of ice in it. Go to the store and buy a bunch of ice, dump it in until the temperature’s about 50 degrees Farenheit or lower. A hot tub is huge though, so it would take A TON of ice. But of course, if you’re all trying to get in at once, you’ll need something big–like a hot tub. So either buy alot of ice, or buy an inflatable pool and a lot of ice. The choice is yours.

I don’t see any reason why not. Expect to use ALOT ice though. It takes more than you’d think to really cool water down much.

The cheap inflatable pool sounds like the best by far.

The inflatable pool is cheaper, convenient, movable, and costs less than
    the ice.

    Walmart sells such pools.
