I am emptying my spa and filling with new water. What chemicals do I add upon start up?

Usually ph and alkalinity come balanced out of the tap. One person said ph – minus is soda ash and muriatic acid will raise your ph WRONG! Complete opposite. You will want to get a metal remover in the water. I recommend Metal Gon. One bottle lasts four months. Then establish a chlorine residual. This will take approx. 2 Tbls. Make sure to keep chlorine in spa all the time. This one is important too, and often over looked. SHOCK! I recommend a non chlorine shock A.K.A…. M.P.S. You will want to do 2Tbls. 2 times a week. Keep your ph and alkalinity balanced and follow the recommended sanitizing schedule above and your spa will be useable all the time. Enjoy.

First take a ph test. If your spa is acidic then add ph- ( soda ash ) if your spa has high alkalinity then add ph+ ( muratic acid ). Then use your algecide in the recommended doses for the size of tub you have. And if you use Bromo or Chlorine, add that in the rec commended doses for the size of tub you have.

    Done.
