Husband went above and beyond to make this day special? DETAILS?

Today is my 21st bday. I am super happy. Last weekend was all about me, spa day was saturday, also the nail salon, then the hair salon. After that I went to the mall, then I went to coach. Sunday my husband told me to go out and purchase accessories to match my outift, he purchased a new cell phone, coach heels, and 300.00 gift certificate to old navy.



OK.. to top it off he put a bday card on the bed with a 50.00 dollar bill enclosed, red roses, and a victoria secret body set .

I was totally shocked. I didnt expect to recieve this much for my bday. But at the same time , this bday is very special to me. I feel that I should purchase a small thank you gift. I am overwhelmed. He has made this day super special.
Any ideas ? Advice - as far as purchasing a small thank you gift ?

    I doubt any gift for him is necessary. I'm sure that you "expressed" your happiness and gratitude to hubby, as only a loving happy wife could do. And, yes, that IS what I mean. What you do is remember. When his b day comes, have plans ready, to make HIS day the best b day he ever enjoyed. You certainly will come up with ideas. I know that few things make me happier than to have an attempt to blow my wife away, work even better than I'd hoped. I'm sure he got lots of satisfaction from your pleasure. Congrats to both of you. Enjoy the next fifty years. You guys ARE winners.

    how about cooking his favorite meal and deck out the room with candles….that would count more than buying a gift .

    If he is a sports fan then maybe get him tickets to see his favorite team play or you could give him a gift certificate to his favorite store with a really sweet thank you card.

    A really nice thank you card would do, it was your birthday after all and usually people buy gifts for a birthday, I am sure he would appreciate a card with some heartfelt words of thanks in it, you could also cook him a nice dinner or something like that, or a romantic picnic.

    no don't buy him a thankyou gift. just show him how much you appreciate him physically. model that victoria secret langerie and those hills for him. he'll love that. just be so very thankful that your husband does stuff like that. i didn't get a thing for my 21st b'day from my husband. just tell him thankyou and show him how happy you are and make him very happy aswell lol

    i don' think buying a gift for him is the way to go here, u can show him ur appriciation in another way, maybe something a little more personal would be better. maybe take him to see ur priest or minister and have them discuss this with him. maybe ur mother-in-law can even help with this situation. good luck to u and i hope everything works out for u. if not dump him and move on.

    Happy Birthday! As a fellow Libran who also gave her hubby a present on her 21st birthday, I'm going to shock you and tell you not to. Why? Because you are blessed to be married to a giver. And we Librans are givers too, as we know that the real joy of gift-giving is the giving part. So give him the gift of allowing him to feel unabashedly proud of all that he's done for you. Tell everyone you see and you can say it in front of him, even if he does blush just a wee bit. But, remember your manners. Don't forget to tell him Thank You! tonight ;-)

    Make him a nice candle lit dinner and serve it wearing the victorias secret set with your shoes and accesories,no clothes…

    Well since he went out of his way to make the day special for you. You only turn 21 once in your life. I would suggest a card with a small gift to say "Thank You".
