How easy is it to transport a hot tub?

I live in a townhouse and reallly really want a hot tub but in a couple years im planning to move into a bigger house. I have never had a hot tub before so im just wondering if there was anything about it that would make it more difficult to transport than other fruniture.

Hi The easiest way to move a hot tub is use leverage first to get it up on it’s side with a 4×4 or 5′ breaker bar. Next use 3" PVC pipe cut in 3′ section to place under the spa and push it to a place where you can then use a Rollback auto carrier to come pick it up and move. If it is going to bee a long distance move you are better off leaving it with the house.

If you speak to the salesman when you buy the hot tub he will be able to answer all you concerns…they know their stuff!

They are large and heavy!! I had to remove one from my deck and it was difficult to get it out. Once we had the tub out of the deck (it was recessed) we put it onto its side and pushed it along 2 x 4s to help it slide easy (couldn’t use a dolly, it was spring and there was snow and mud all over the place).

Defineatly the most difficult thing I have had to move (even worse than a 240 Gallon aquarium)

They are not that bad to move.If you plan on selling the house just include it in the price and buy a new one for the new house.
