she is right as far as using a nice attractive board. LOL. So next once you realize that is a bad solution. Get online and look up Rayner Covers out of Ill. They make a 2# closed cell denisty foam spa cover that will not absorb wat and therefor break. There will be info on the site on how to measure and select the proper cover for you. Your about to find out from your local spa peopel that the inside foam cover is just as expensive as the bloody cover that surrounds it. The shipping kills them. You can get a cheap cover from some place like spacvers.com but you will be replacing it every 3 years. Why not get a cover you will never replace!? I wish all of the hot tub companies would start using this company for the covers instead of relying on the customers to buy them every five years on average. I have played with numerous different foams and cores trying to figure out something that is inexpensive for my customers but to no avail.

If its the material that's sagging, try stretching and sewing it?….if it's the center foam, place a 2 X 4 across the top of the spa (under the cover) that will support the cover till you can get a new one or have this one repaired…..your local pool service or spa supplier may be able to connect you with someone who can repair it.
