How big is the carbon footprint of Al Gore's new $9M Ocean Front Villa?

In drought stricken central California, The .7M ocean-front villa sits on 1.5 lush manicured acres with a BIG swimming pool, spa and lots of flowing fountains.

The Italian-style house boasts SIX fireplaces, five bedrooms and NINE bathrooms.

Do you think Al Gore will be burning roaring fires in all six fire places, while using millions of gallons to keep his 1.5 acres lush and green?

How many bathrooms, fireplaces and acres of lush green water guzzling lawn, does an environmentalist need?

This shows the hypocrisy of the Left, according to Al Gore we are supposed to lower our standard of living so that we don’t put out so much co2. But it is okay for the elite to tell us to lower our standard of living while they can flaunt their lifestyle in our faces. I am not jealous of him, I am a distant relative of his, maybe he will give me some money for an inheritance. LOL. No, really I would like people like him to live in the lifestyle that they try to dictate for us. They tell us to lower our standards of living, they need to live like they tell us to live.

  2. The Conservative Liberal says:

    It’s over 9,000!!!!!!

  3. Міша says:

At least, we can rest assured, the OCEANS ARE NOT RISING…
    Not any more, at least…

Otherwise, Al Gore would’ve bought something in the mountains.

  4. John Milton says:

Probably slightly more than his 6,000 square foot houseboat.

  5. Karl says:

    Oh….but he buys carbon offsets!!!!

    What a joke

  6. Herman says:

Not to mention that Al Gore predicted the world was supposed to already end by now!

  7. Bon Bon says:

the rich and famous have it all, they just want it for themselves, but not for you.
    Just like gun control.
Rosie O’Donnell want gun control for the average citizen, but wants an armed guard protecting her and her children, because, she needs protection.
    Its all about symbolism♥

  8. New name, it must be spring! says:

    "ocean view"

Given its climate, this house will have a smaller foot print than the one in Tennessee ever had. His purchase of this house, would reduce his day to day carbon foot print.

Drought stricken central California? You just mentioned that it isn’t in the valley and that you know nothing about the landscaping, including whether it even has a lawn.

Apparently you just hate Al for being rich enough to buy a house, since you haven’t been successful in claiming it will be washed into the ocean or will be a blight.

  9. Bobbi says:

Al Gore offstes his carbon footprint by charging everyday common folk extra on THEIR utilities. Plus, to help pay for his place he has invested heavily into companies that will bring him profit when cap and trade is passed.

  10. Miles from Florida! says:

If you ask any "normal" person, it has a carbon index of over 5,000. Ask al hore and he’ll say he’s environmentally in sync!!
Just one day of mowing the lawn = 4,500
That leaves only 500 to just pull into the driveway! Assuming the driveway is only 1/4 mile!!

  11. MichaelMoore (yeah, that one) says:

Has ANYONE’S carbon footprint grown as much as Albore’s?

  12. bad girl says:

Why is it any of your business?

You are part of the group that complains about President Obama traveling on Air Force One but never complained about George W. Bush flying to Crawford, Texas on Air Force One to cut brush.

Seems it depends on who is burning jet fuel.

  13. Lord Viper Scorpion says:

The ocean only has to rise a couple feet to do major damage. However, not everything on the coast is just a couple of feet above the shoreline. Just because the advocate of something is a hypocrite doesn’t mean the cause itself is, though Gore is a hypocrite.
