A hot tub spa can be an effective medium to get rid of the tiredness from a hard day's work. You can get complete relaxation and feel rejuvenated again after a session in a hot tub spa. As fixed-based hot spas, there are portable varieties that are easy to be placed indoor in times of need. Some of the reasons because of which people prefer installing portable hot tubs are mentioned below.

Indoor hot tubs can be used all round the year, irrespective of the climatic condition. They are easy to be easily installed and come with solutions to counter privacy issues attached with outdoor tubs.

With an indoor tub, nothing can hinder you to enjoy your discrete moments of relaxation. Like everything else, use of an indoor tub can be tricky sometime. However, you can eliminate problems by paying a little extra attention. All you need is to decide the perfect place with enough lighting to set up your tub. Make sure, the area that you have home for you tub is free from any kind of moisture, weight, and heat.

It is mainly because moisture and heat may cause damage to the lining or built material of the tub. Put some extra ventilation for passing the air to keep your tub dry and moth free.

Get yourself a cordless DeWalt Sawsall. Cut the bugger a little at a time. Or not. Put the debris out with the trash.

    Cost? Sawsall…$100? Labor..Free. (you provide)

anyone have any tips on getting a neglected hot tub back in working condition?
we just bought a house that had a neglected hot tub on site. the water was filthy & ants took up residence. we’ve drained it, and cleaned it (pressure washer). what else do we need to do? do we need to get a hot tub place to come out & clean the pump & lines (it hadn’t been run dirty)? what chemicals do we need & how do we use them? do we go to a hot tub / spa dealer to get answers & other services? or do they not do that?

    thanks !!

How much is a home hot tub?
I’m trying to find online a general price on home hot tubs/spas. I would need something basic, seating up to 6. It will go on our deck. Just looking for a very general estimate and also brand recommendations?? Thanks!

Check the filters to make sure they don’t need to be replaced. Decide on the chemical system you want to use. I use Bacqua Spa in mine because of skin conditions, but there are chlorine and bromide chemicals that you can use, too. Fill the spa and test the water which will tell you what the water needs. Capture a sample of the water and take it to the spa dealer who will assit you in purchasing the correct combination of chemicals. Each spa manufacturer makes their spas different, on ours we add the chemicals, allow it to circulate through the system for a certain length of time to clean the jets and feeds before we can use it. Ask the spa dealer to help you determine the model of spa that you have. Most of the time you can download a manual which is an absolute “must have” for trouble shooting, maintenance and care of your spa.

It used to be a lot of money, if you’re lucky you could find one free on CRAIGSLIST. I see one everyday, someone somewhere are giving theirs away.

  8. Above the Rest Hot Tub and Pool Repair, Inc. says:

Which model of tub, year it was made and what info can you read off your spa’s pack to help us figure out which one you have. If you took a few digital photos and sent them it would be great!

Make sure that all the pump(s), blowers, jets, and especially the HEATER are functioning properly. Ask if there has been service done to the spa if so what type of work. Spas are wonderful but when something breaks it can get pretty expensive especially the heater. I worked for swimming pool/spa repair for years and would frequently have customers calling complaining that their spas were not working and when given a quote to repair customers would more than likely end up paying more for the repair than the actual spa itself. Just be careful. I never heard of the brand you mentioned but just like cars there are quite a few out there. Sundance and Dimension One spas are really great but can be costly even second hand. Hope this helps.
