Try the Comfort Inn in Paramus, the Parsippany Inn in Morris Plains, or the National Hotel in Frenchtown.

You can also try this B&B in Vernon http://www.alpinehausbb.com/.

    Happy travels!

Anyone know where I can get thermalite blocks in NJ?
I’m attempting to build a hot tub following instructions from the following website and I cannot find anywhere to get the blocks. I tried Home Depot, Lowes, and a brick specialty store.

    Or near NJ? Eastern PA?

Thermalite is a brand name for aerated concrete blocks made in the UK primarily for the house building market. The brand is currently owned by the Hanson Group; a Heidelberg subsidiary and it is currently up for sale.
Aerated concrete is manufactured from Pulverised Fuel Ash/Fine Silica Sand, Cement, Lime, aluminium powder and hot water. A giant cake is produced, which is cut with wires whilst wet and then the whole thing autoclaved.
The result is a very light weight concrete with air bubbles, the lightest of which can float in water.
As it is concrete and brittle, it does not travel well over long distances; so unlikely to be available in the US; but it has been made there in the past under the Siporex, Yxhult and Ytong (now Xella) brand names in the Southern States. They may still exist.

Sounds like you need to rent a flat bed truck and strap it down with the motor side (heavy side) on the bottom.
