Floating goldfish. its not dead?

i have a ryukin named cheddar which i got around 1.5 weeks ago, and yesterday, i noticed that after each meal, all of the goldfish swim to my double airstone and use it like a massage spa.
well, cheddar has started to float in all kinds of angles, mostly upside-down.
Is this swim bladder disease or did he swallow too many air bubbles?
wat is the cure?
actually he breathes kinda rapidly/normal
he doesnt hold his breath
but good idea
since he has possibility of the sbs, should i quarantine him?
my other fishes names are pepper, kara, illyssa and linux
i am currently quarantining cheddar in my emergency 2.5 gallon fishbowl with an airpump

this happened to my goldfish. the guy at the aqaurium said that it was because when i was feeding them they would come to the top and take the food and when they took the food they would also get air with the food and it would make their tummy fill up with air and because of that they would start to float around.

cute name i have four goldfish and their names are: Grommet, Rambo, Boofer and Allan

it must be holding its breath, which is causing it to float. I had a pair of gold fish that always did that, used to freak me out.

The fish hanging out in the air flow is most often a sign of distress USUALLY from an ammonia or nitrate spike.

Irregular buoyancy is not uncommon for fancy goldfish here are the most common reasons:

    Swim bladder infection
    Over feeding
    Internal bacterial infection
    Feeding flakes
Dry food absorbing water in the gut and expanding
    Internal parasite infection

Sorry, there is not enough information here to tell what is happening to your fish.

EDIT: Rapid breathing is another sign of ammonia poisoning.

It’s SBS (swim bladder syndrome), caused by overfeeding. Goldfish are opportunist eater and will continue to eat even when full. Fast your goldfish for 2-3 days and he shall swim normal, if not, give him the inside of a blanched pea, it will further aid in digestion.
