Ecological Pool Heating?

Hello, is there an ecological way to heat a small pool, not just a few degrees but to spa temperatures?

To spa temperatures? Very doubtful, unless you happen to live in Yellowstone, Iceland, or Kamchatka.

"A few degrees," however, can be easily done. The way to accomplish that is to construct a two-layer glass enclosure. A single layer glass enclosure itself is sufficient to create a greenhouse effect, but the benefit of two layers is that you can channel warm air back into the interior by using convection currents.

Basically, you’d need to have openings around the bottom of the outer glass structure, and an opening at the top center of the inner glass structure. Cold air gets sucked in from the bottom – as it warms up it rises to the top – there the heated air is forced inside the structure.

The Olympic Water Cube in Beijing utilizes this method.
