Chemical Peel! Help!?

I am going for my first chemical peel tomorrow afternoon. Im really nervous! I am having it done at a Medical Spa (for acne) I cant remember the name of the peel but i think it started with a V? Anyways does anybody get them and really like them? Does it hurt bad? Also....how long after does you face start to look really bad? Im having it done tomorrow (Thursday) at 4:30...will it be bad by friday morning? Any advice is great!! Thanks!

    First of all I would find out exactly the name of the peel and try to find info on the net. I have had a couple of peels and they burn some. I really needed to concentrate and focus on something to keep my mind off the burning. I told the attendant I was concentrating and would she mind not talking and if it hurt bad enough I would let her know. Then you skin looks red for a couple of days, then it turns dry. I am fair skinned and it looked like dried onion skin. Not a pretty site. Couldn’t move my lips that much. It itched, you can’t scratch and if you peel any off it will just skin over again and itch.
    Maybe yours will be different and I hope so but you need to ask all of these questions and find out what they will be doing to you. Good luck!
