My hair is very healthy, but my natural texture is very wavy. In the summer and spring, it becomes curly and I love it. But other times, it's just wavy and hard to maintain an actual style with it.
Last year, I bought a thermal Chemical Straightener for it at Sally's beauty supply for about 40 bucks.
It made my hair silky and smooth and very very straight.
I barely ever used heat tools on it. I didn't really have to.
But, for 40 bucks, it didn't last very long, I had to do it at least twice a month. ( there's two applications in each kit ) So I would buy about two kits every month.
I just moved to my new location and i found a day spa that offers what they call "Chemical Straightening"
I've heard that this would fry my hair and I definatly do not want that.
The straightener costs and I also read that professional jobs last for at least a few months.
In your own opinion, do you think I should try it?
Or do you think it will cause damage to my hair?
