I have a pool with a spa, the water from the spa cascades into the pool like a waterfall. Everyday I see about?

The spa/pool is an in-ground type. After a complete filtering cycle, the water level is where it should be about an inch or so above the tile and plaster line. But, after a few hours, the water level drops to 5 to 6 inches below the line.
How much should I budget for pool service in the Houston area?
I’m buying a house with a pool/spa, and won’t have the knowledge or time to maintain it myself. How much does pool service cost on average? Does the price include chemicals, or does the homeowner have to supply chemicals? Any info would be helpful. Thanks!
