I’m looking for a 4-6 persons, outdoor hot tub that would be relatively cheap to maintain and of a good quality. What are some of the industry’s best brands and types? Any online vendors maybe? Thanks a lot!

I live in Colorado and I’m renting a house that has a hot tub that’s on the lease. Problem is, the hot tub isn’t working and hasn’t worked since I’ve moved in. It’s time to sign a new lease and I feel that I should be reimbursed for the broken amenitie. My question is how much should I ask for back?
It has been asked of the landlord that the hottub was broken since the get-go.

We have a hot tub that is constantly breaking. We are sick of fixing it and just want to get rid of it. The question is how? We looked in the yellow pages, and while there are movers of hot tubs, we didn’t see anyone who specifically will discard them.

I want to build a small hot tub in ground in the forest.. but how can I heat the water? The only thing I can think of is by burning wood..

I have had a leak in my hot tub for a while and finally traced it to the pump seal. How much do they usualy cost? Is it just a single seal or is it a "multi staged" seal? Is it easy to replace?

I live in a townhouse and reallly really want a hot tub but in a couple years im planning to move into a bigger house. I have never had a hot tub before so im just wondering if there was anything about it that would make it more difficult to transport than other fruniture.

I have an old hot tub that I'm refurbing I guess. I was wondering what is the best way to remove the scale deposits ? I bought a cleaner from a pool supply store but it barely touched it. I lived with a surfer pool guy and we acquired an old spa and we wet sanded the interior to clean it up a bit and it seem to do a good job and the tub didn't have a glossy finish anyway. is this adviseable? anyone have a good suggestion?

I have a 500 gallon hot tub and i use liquid pool chlorine in the hot tub. I am on a well that has high ph to start. the problem i am having is that the ph is always extremly high in the hot tub. any thought? ant better ideas? the only chemicals i use is ph reducer and liquid chlorine.
Why do people use bromine?

I have a knotty pine sunroom and want to install a hot tub but am worried about the moisture rotting the wood. The floor is tile, so no problem there. Anyone have experience with this?
