Can someone help me with concealers?

I bought Maybelline concealer stick in yellow today to try to make my dark undereye circles go away but it made it worse... Like it didn't even cover any blemishes, at all.

Please tell me what concealers are the best for undereye circles?

Are these concealers great for dark circles?:
Revlon age defying spa undereye concealer
Borghese Artista Exact Match Concealer
Neutrogena correcting concealer stick
Physician's formula concealer stick

Please help me and tell me your opinions, the more answers the better!! thanks for your time =)
P.S. where can i buy salmon colored concealers? what brands are available?..and can i find it at a drugstore? thanks!

Salmon concealer works best, for under eye circles/darknes.
There’s Sonia Kashuk Hidden Agenda concealer. It has a salmon color, along with a green color. It comes with 4 different neutralizers. Works really well. You can get it at Target.

Yellow and green is more for redness, like blemishes. I think its better to use a yellow concealer for blemishes or redness, because if you have alot of redness and use green concealer, it’ll leave a green-ish tint on your face, and you don’t want that. (:

    Hope I was helpful.

    Hey!
Ok the concealers you have listed are wonderful for undereye circles but i would like to recommend a specific one that I use and works good for me.

    Neutrogena correcting concealer stick
Note: all skin types are different so it might work different for me then you.. but try it out! it should help

buy a salmon colored concealer instead. yellow just makes under eye circles more exaggerated (or at least this is what i’ve noticed). try loreal true match. this is the only concealer that i’ve tried and actually liked. :)

Well, for covering undereye circles you’re going to want a concealer with a red undertone which will cancel out the blue/green undertones in your circles and make them disappear.

For covering a blemish you’re going to want a concealer with blue undertones to cancel out the redness in the blemish. Basically, you need to use a concealer with the opposite undertone as your problem area, if this makes any sense at all!

To give you an easier answer, I use CoverGirl Invisible concealer or M.A.C. studio sculpt. Both work fine, but I don’t have many blemishes. I think that the Physicians Formula or Neutrogena would work best out of your list, those are two good brands. GOod luck!

there is a concealer palette by Make Up For Ever…its a great palette and it has a range of colors for different problems…the green shade is for redness and the peachy-tone shades is for dark spots like undereye circles…there is a link below…if you have darker skin look around the Sephora under the Make Up For Ever brand section and look for the darker palettes…they go by number (#1 is the lightest and the higher the number means they go with darker skintones…this is a great concealer…its great by itself or underneath foundation…one thing i love is that it goes on better and looks better if you apply it with your findertips…hopefully this helps :]

PS: it is definitely worth the price and a lil bit goes a looong way…good luck
