Can a pregnant woman 28weeks use a Jacuzzi and mineral spa pool for 1 evening?

Have anniversary gift certificates for the mineral spa, and hotel room with Jacuzzi. Am I able to go for the night being 28 weeks pregnant? Even for a very short time in and out of the indoor/outdoor pool?

I think it all depends! The pool is for sure perfect!!! Aqua aerobics is one of the best forms of exercise for pregnant ladies… the real thing you need to worry about it that your core body temp should never raise about 102 when pregnant, it can cause harm to the baby…. so if it isn’t hot then it should be o.k….to be save I really would call your doctor and talk to them about what you can and can’t do… there may be things that are o.k. but others that are not and you just don’t want to risk it!!! That is a really cool anniversary present though!!! Even if you can only do a few things you will still have a great time!

In response to the one who said you can’t have massages, that is sooo not true, my doctor actually has a massage therapist come in to do them on their pregnant clients… you have to make sure they know you are pregnant but as long as they know that they are wonderful!!!!

Like I said, call your doctor and speak with someone who really knows what is safe for you!

NO HOT TUBS. Your doctor told you this, your nurse told you this. The answer is no. You can go to the hotel. You can go in the pool for short periods. But no jacuzzis.

No you can’t they say massages, Jacuzzis, and spas could cause you to start contracting. So I’d wait until you have had the baby. Also the Jacuzzi will be hot. Causing your body temp to get higher which can’t be good for the baby either.

The pool should be fine there is nothing wrong with swimming it won’t hurt you, and you can very well go out for the night if you just wanna get out, however the jacuzzi is a big no no sorry hun. The high temperatures raise your body temperature an can make it dangerous for baby’s developing brain and such so unfortunately your gonna have to skip the hot tubs til the lil one is here. Good luck an congrats on the baby :)

Temple Gardens can be warm inside (air temp not water temp), just make sure you drink lots of water that they provide there and go to the outside portion once in a while. I’ve used a hot tub that we turned the temp down on and everything is fine.

the pool is OK, not the hot tub.
