3300 square foot house in Oceanside, california with a decenent pool/spa and lot built in 1993. The house needs quite a bit of work in order to get in good shape: all 3.5 bathrooms need to be remodeled; about 1500 square feet of tile needs to be taken out and replaced with something new (prolly hardwood). We went into escrow on this house at 460K and did the inspection. It turns out there are one to many water leaks around the house and there could be mold. They lowered the price to 430K but will not allow us to inspect for mold. We have no idea if there is mold and if so, the extent of the mold. The price is obviously a tremendous deal but I’m freaked out about this mold issue. How much could this cost? I’m prepared to pay for the upgrades but I don’t know how much this mold crap could end up being. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
In drought stricken central California, The .7M ocean-front villa sits on 1.5 lush manicured acres with a BIG swimming pool, spa and lots of flowing fountains.
The Italian-style house boasts SIX fireplaces, five bedrooms and NINE bathrooms.
Do you think Al Gore will be burning roaring fires in all six fire places, while using millions of gallons to keep his 1.5 acres lush and green?
How many bathrooms, fireplaces and acres of lush green water guzzling lawn, does an environmentalist need?

Have you ever worked for the Marriott Hotel?
What was your position, did you enjoy it?
What was the experience like with the Marriott and would you recommened it?
Please read guys!
I am currently working in an office doing web design and getting paid at £6.50 an hour which in my opinion is extremely low wages considering my graphic skills and the stress I have to undergo to deal with the coding – being a novice and all.
I can no longer bare working here and have to move on. I am considering the Marriott because it’s litereally next door to me and has all the facilities I would benefit from (e.g. a gym, pool, spa, etc) which I am currently missing out on now. I get no daily excersize which is one thing that is starting to depress me for someone that was previously very active and fit. The only vacancy available at the Marriott is a food and beverages service vacancy which I don’t know what it is but it sounds a whole lot easier than web design and coding for the price of £6.50 – Why not go for the easier job? Why should I be getting it hard when people are getting it easy for the same damn pay? I feel awful.
So, any feedback on the Marriott would really help before I ditch this cursed job for them.
I was bit by a black bug earlier today (1pm). I was getting into my car and felt a pinch/sting. Looked and found a bug under my sleeve. I squished it and got rid of it. I know now I should’ve kept it. It looked like a fat black ant, but a little different than an ant. I googled what it might be. The closest I came to is a carpenter ant. Now its 11pm and I have hives all over the backs of my thighs. Can’t figure out if its from my friends pool/spa or what bit me. Any help is appreciated!!

Former Vice President Al Gore and his wife, Tipper, have added a Montecito-area property to their real estate holdings, reports the Montecito Journal.
The couple spent ,875,000 on an ocean-view villa on 1.5 acres with a swimming pool, spa and fountains, a real estate source familiar with the deal confirms. The Italian-style house has six fireplaces, five bedrooms and nine bathrooms.

I want to surpise my byfriend a trip to Vegas for New Years Eve and his birthday but I am clueless where to stay nor do i know where the hot spots i.e. clubs, spa, etc.. are located..He is a avid gambler and I would love to do the pool, spa, shopping thing all day and party all night. He mentioned the Palm which is an option but a little out of the price range…I want to stay on strip but it is not mandatory but we do want to stay in a popular hotel where the stars (possible) will be at or the parties so we will not have to worry about cab fair…Any ideas is greatly appreciated.
When I do the self test on my pool water, the ph level is crucialy low but my chlorine is very high. I have added soda ash a few times this week and still my ph level does not budge, and my chlorine level stays high. The water is clear as anything and there is no algae build up anywhere. There is a slippery feel to the water, i know that sounds silly. The water burns the eyes and has a chemically tast to it as well. I don’t know what to do anymore. I am taking a sample of it to a local pool/spa place to get tested. But if anyone has any sugesstions or has had the same problem before I would appreciate any suggestions on what to do? Thank you.
