What is a good waterproofing product for cedar spa skirting?

We have a swim spa with cedar skirting and cedar stairs. Has anyone used a waterproofing product for cedar that worked well for them? It would be nice if it also had stain in the product, but it isn't necessary. As long as it does the job, we'll give up the color. Any help with [...]

I just bought a used softub and it was working fine for about 2 weeks. All of a sudden the pump shut off on its own, however the power lights stay on on both the contro panel and the gfci plug. I can get to come on by continuing to push on the reset button [...]

My filter in my spa / hot tub is not easily coming out, any tips on how to remove it?

Should I turn harder, or should I be afraid of it breaking?
